I earlier bought this cheap, $5 mini displayport to HDMI adapter here on Amazon for my new MacBook Pro, and it didn't do audio when it clearly stated that it does. Well, this one actually does. It a bit expensive, but it's cheaper here than on Apple's site. And it's well made, too. It's thick and feel very rugged. It's definitely not going to fall apart. That $5 one felt and looked incredibly cheap. Plus, if you ever need it, you have that DVI adapter. An excellent product.
