I purchased this unit to replace an older Yamaha 5.1 receiver because I wanted HDMI switching - connect all devices to my receiver and then just one HDMI cable to the TV. This works flawlessly, true plug-and-play.



The audio is stunning - THX at this price point?! I used the setup program in the receiver to configure my speakers and am glad I did. It's neat the way it senses the distance and direction for each speaker and configures itself accordingly. I never new 5 speakers could sound so good - and I have Bose speakers which I love. If you enjoy Hi-Fi and home theater, get seven speakers and a sub-woofer - really take advantage of this unit's capabilities. I'll be adding two more speakers to my system. The video up-converting feature works well to polish the displayed image and make it look as if you were watching a BlueRay movie.



I don't have any complaints so far and I've owned mine since May 2010. I'm still impressed with it's performance.
