This review is for the device without the built-in speakers, which I purchased, because the one with the speakers was sold out. I absolutely love this radio! I can listen to French and German music when I feel like it, comedy, reggae, techno, ... whatever. You can browse channels by country or by category (music type). It has a sleep function, which I find invaluable, because I like to unwind when going to bed. And it has an alarm function. I have not connected it to my network yet, because I honestly just wanted to be able to listen to internet radio channels without having to turn my laptop on.

Sure, you only have a regular remote control, so selecting channels is not as snappy as on a laptop, and that was to be expected, since it does not have a keyboard or a web browser built into it, it's just a radio! You can, however, set up favorites, and once they are set up, you just scroll through the list. Some chennels do not push info out like artist or song name, some do. Unfortunately, some of my favorite channels don't. I have been recommending this radio to all my friends, THAT'S how much I like it.



The version with the built in speakers s exactly the same - plus speakers. My sister has had it for a year and they use it every single day as well in their kitchen.
